Donate Ambulatory Vehicles
Donate Gurneys and Wheelchairs
Donate Ambulatory Aircrafts
The Sickle Cell Foundation of West Africa is in urgent need of Wheelchairs (Manual, Electronic or Battery-Operated) , Gurnies, Ambulance Vans and Ambulance Transport Helicopters. We know that these are not your day-to-day toys, but expensive, yet necessary tools we need to accomplish our daily mission of saving lives ravaged by Sickle Cell Anemia. As a result, we also sweetened the deal: Anyone who donates an ambulatory Aircraft or Vehicle will have the aircraft or vehicle named after them, will have his or her name engraved in the "Hall of Mercy"-a special hall we are building in all our hospitals and clinics across West Africa, and may even have the name of the entire clinic itself or the entire street where the clinic is located named after them. Every other donor-regardless of how small their donation is, will have their name engraved in our halls of mercy.
Donate Electronics (Computers, Office Phones, Walkie talkies)
Donate Cash
We would appreciate donated electronics that are new (or used but in excellent working condition), so we don't have to spend the money needed to save the lives of children on fixing "As is" equipments. The names of our donors are engraved in the "Halls of Mercy" in our clinics across West Africa. Please, preserve your name by preserving the life of a sickle cell baby. Donate today!
It costs $36 a month ($432 a year), to buy the oral penicillin needed to save the life of a baby born with sickle cell disease. These babies must take this medicine twice a day for the first 5 years of their lives, which amounts to $2,160 for 5 years (per child). We would appreciate monthly donations of $36 and above, or one lump-sum donation of $432 per year, or $2,160 for 5 years.
The other treatment (often taken simultaneously with Penicillin) is Hydroxyurea. The average cost per patient receiving Hydroxyurea varies considerably per country. In the United States, it is an average of $16,810 per year, but we believe that Sickle cell foundation of West Africa can negotiate this down to below $5,000 per year for our patients in Africa.

Donate Land
Donate Furniture & Equipments
We are building state-of-the-art clinics in every West African country. These modern facilities require a minimum of 5 acres of flat terrain. We would appreciate land that is not stolen, not controversial, not under any legal proceedings and not already sold to many buyers at the same time. We don't want to spend the money we are supposed to use saving the lives of sickle cell patients on any land problems. The names of our donors are engraved in the "Halls of Mercy" in our clinics across West Africa. Please, preserve your name by preserving the life of a sickle cell baby. Donate today!

Some of our patients, especially the children we care for, come to our clinics with virtually nothing on their backs, and their parents or guardians are in no condition to do anything. We request clothing donations of all types, shapes and styles. Our greatest areas of need are for children between the ages of 1-7 years, males and females, and because most of these children will wear these clothes for a very long time, we would prefer that any used clothes donated be less than 6 months old. Please, preserve your name by preserving the life of a sickle cell baby. Donate today!
