At the end of each year, we host the "End-of-Year" donor's "Thank you" conference at our corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, USA. This is the time we give out the following awards to our most outstanding partners, donors and volunteers. We encourage all donors to come celebrate with us.
The Hannah Olayinka DONOR-OF-THE-YEAR AWARD
This award is given to the most dedicated donor of the year. Winners are not selected based on the amounts they give, but on how committed they are to our cause. The winner gets a 1-week paid trip (hotel and flight) to visit our foundation headquarter in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A for the "End-of-Year" donor's "Thank you" conference (if they are not in the US).
The Sarah Bokateshe EMPLOYEE-OF-THE-YEAR Award
All our employees are crucial to the survival of our foundation. Each year, we choose one single employee that stands out, to receive this award. The winner gets a 1-week paid trip (hotel and flight) to visit our foundation headquarter in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A for the "End-of-Year" donor's "Thank you" conference (if they are not in the US).
At the end of each year, we select the most resilient of our patients who demonstrates a strong will to live and overcome the sickle cell disease. The winner gets a 2-week paid trip (hotel and flight) to visit our foundation headquarter in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A for the "End-of-Year" donor's "Thank you" conference (whether they are not in the US or not)., and to get a thorough medical checkup at Nationwide Children's Hospital Sickle cell clinic also here in Columbus, Ohio.

Volunteers serve critical roles in all our undertakings. These are some of the greatest assets we have in this organization. Theirs is a "labor of love", because they don't get paid. Each year, we select the most outstanding volunteer to receive this award. MERCY Award
Leaders in individual countries play crucial roles in our mission. Without them, we can't get anything done. As a result, we each year give out the prestigious "Samuel Olafisan Mercy Award"to a particular leader from each country we have a clinic that contributed significantly to our success that year. The winner could be the president, governor, monarch, local village chief, local government official-anyone. The winner gets a 1-week paid trip (hotel and flight) to visit our
foundation headquarter in Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A for the "End-of-Year" donor's "Thank you" conference (if they are not in the US).
